Job Description
Julimos is seeking a highly skilled and technically proficient Senior Information Security Analyst to join our elite team of cybersecurity experts. As a Senior Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our critical systems and data through the implementation of advanced security measures and proactive threat detection and mitigation strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth security assessments and penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities and potential risks within our network infrastructure, applications, and systems.
- Develop and implement robust security controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard against external threats and unauthorized access.
- Monitor and analyze security events, logs, and alerts generated by various security tools, including SIEM, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection systems.
- Conduct thorough investigations of security incidents, including incident containment, forensic analysis, and evidence preservation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy secure network architectures, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion prevention systems.
- Stay up to date with the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and attack vectors, and provide recommendations for proactive defense measures.
- Conduct security awareness training and workshops for employees to promote a culture of cybersecurity awareness and adherence to best practices.
- Assist in developing and maintaining disaster recovery and incident response plans, ensuring effective response and recovery in the event of a security incident.
- Perform risk assessments and vulnerability scans and provide recommendations to management for remediation and risk mitigation strategies.
- Stay current with industry standards and frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field. Industry-recognized certifications such as CISSP, SECURITY+, CEH, or OSCP are highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in information security, with a strong background in security analysis, vulnerability assessment, and incident response.
- Proficiency in security assessment tools and techniques, including network scanning tools (e.g., Nmap, Nessus), vulnerability scanners (e.g., Qualys, Rapid7), and penetration testing frameworks (e.g., Metasploit).
- In-depth knowledge of security technologies and solutions, including firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, SIEM, DLP, and endpoint protection.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, TCP/IP, and network architecture.
- Experience with log management and SIEM solutions (e.g., Splunk, ELK).
- Familiarity with secure coding practices and application security principles.
- Ability to analyze complex security issues, identify root causes, and recommend effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
