Job Description

Julimos, a leading technology staffing company, is seeking a skilled and experienced Network/LAN Administrator to join our team. As a Network/LAN Administrator, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our clients’ network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability. This position requires strong technical expertise in network administration, excellent problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of LAN/WAN technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
  • Monitor network performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks and optimizing network resources.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues, investigating root causes and implementing preventive measures.
  • Perform network configuration and management tasks, ensuring adherence to best practices and security standards.
  • Conduct network capacity planning and analysis to ensure scalability and performance.
  • Implement and enforce network security measures, including access controls, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide technical expertise on network infrastructure.
  • Develop and maintain network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest network technologies and trends, and provide recommendations for improving network performance and reliability.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of experience as a Network/LAN Administrator or in a similar role.
  • Strong technical knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies, such as TCP/IP, routing protocols, VLANs, VPNs, and wireless networks.
  • Proficiency in network configuration and management, including routers, switches, firewalls, and access points.
  • Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve network-related issues.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with network security best practices and industry standards.
  • Remote work experience is a plus.
