Job Description

Julimos, a leading technology Staffing company, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Scrum Master to join our team. As a Scrum Master, you will play a vital role in facilitating agile development processes, ensuring effective collaboration, and driving successful project delivery. This position requires strong leadership skills, expertise in agile methodologies, and the ability to guide and empower cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring adherence to agile principles and practices.
  • Guide and coach the development team on self-organization, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Collaborate with product owners to define and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring clear and actionable user stories.
  • Remove any obstacles or impediments that may hinder the development team’s progress.
  • Promote a culture of transparency, trust, and continuous learning within the team.
  • Track and communicate project progress, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders.
  • Ensure the team follows agile best practices and adheres to the defined agile framework.
  • Collaborate with other Scrum Masters and Agile Coaches to drive organizational agility and process improvements.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in agile methodologies and frameworks, and provide recommendations for enhancing the company’s agile practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar agile project management role.
  • A certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of agile methodologies, such as Scrum, Kanban, or Lean-Agile.
  • Experience leading agile development teams and driving successful project delivery.
  • Excellent facilitation, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities, with the ability to empower and inspire teams.
  • Proficient in agile project management tools and software.
  • Familiarity with software development practices and the software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Remote work experience is a plus.
