Julimos, a leading technology staffing company, is seeking a skilled and experienced WordPress Developer to join our team. As a WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining WordPress websites for our clients. This position requires strong technical expertise in WordPress development, excellent problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of web technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and customize WordPress websites, themes, and plugins based on client requirements.
- Collaborate with designers and stakeholders to translate design concepts into functional WordPress websites.
- Ensure WordPress websites’ performance, security, and scalability through proper coding and optimization techniques.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to WordPress websites, including debugging and fixing code errors.
- Conduct website updates, maintenance, and enhancements, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest WordPress trends, tools, and best practices, and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers and content creators, to deliver comprehensive web solutions.
- Conduct website testing and quality assurance to ensure compatibility, responsiveness, and functionality across different browsers and devices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in WordPress development or in a similar role.
- Strong technical knowledge of WordPress CMS, including custom theme and plugin development.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Experience with responsive and mobile-friendly web design principles.
- Knowledge of PHP and MySQL, with the ability to write clean and efficient code.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and website optimization techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Remote work experience is a plus.
